According to China Customs statistics, January 2025 was the peak month for Chinese watch exports at 61.3 million units, as buyers worldwide stockpiled ahead of Chinese New Year factory closures. At the other end of the year, December 2025 was the peak month for export value at USD 250 million (+9.7% year-on-year) — reflecting holiday-season demand flowing through the supply chain.

- Gift packaging. Confirm box quality with your supplier before ordering — holiday buyers judge the box as much as the watch.
- A small mechanical/automatic selection. For gift buyers seeking a "special" feel, 2–3 automatic models at a higher price point lift average order value.
The ready-stock advantage in Q4
A custom production order placed in November will not arrive before the holidays. A ready-stock wholesale order placed with a supplier holding 500+ models in stock can be dispatched within days. For Q4 specifically, prioritize suppliers on stock availability and dispatch speed over marginal unit-price savings — a 5% cheaper price means nothing if the carton arrives on December 28.
